The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: • Conducting independent and collaborative research in the areas of Distributed Systems and Computer Networks; • Closely working with the project PI; • Co-supervising project team members and research students with the PI on related projects; • Participation in conferences, seminars and other activities of the research group; This position requires that the candidate hold a PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with strong analytical and implementation skills. Strong background in optimization techniques and modeling is also required. A strong publication record in the related areas is desirable. A high communication ability in English writing and oral presentation is preferred. The term is 1 year with the possibility to renew contingent upon satisfactory progress.
