Global Health Fellowship Program Description: The Fogarty Global Health Fellowship Program replaces the Fogarty International Clinical Research Scholars Fellows Program, representing new opportunities in global health research training. The Global Health Fellowship Program is one-year clinical research training program for pre- and post-doctoral candidates, sponsored by the Fogarty International Center (FIC) and several collaborating institutes and centers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The purpose of the program is to support a one-year mentored research fellowship for clinical investigators studying diseases and conditions in developing countries. Several training sites are available through the Vanderbilt-Emory-Cornell-Duke Consortium.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: US citizens or�citizens of low-or middle-income countries�as defined by the World Bank�are eligible for these fellowships (The VECD fellowship requires the support of a VECD institution. Applicants must be from one of VECD's�institutions and/or has a history of collaboration/mentorship of a faculty member that is part of the VECD consortium).
