Following up on our big seminar event last August, Indonesia Mengglobal is now excited to host coffee chat with US university students and alumni in Jakarta this December! This smaller, more intimate event will provide you with personalized help that caters to you, your application, and your circumstances. You'll get 15 minutes one-on-one time with students and alumni from some of the best universities in the US. You can ask specific questions, address specific concerns, or even get feedback on your essays or applications.The coffee chat will be held at one of the coffee shops in Pacific Place Mll, Jakarta, on December 16, 2012, from 3 - 6 pm, and we'll have multiple 15 minutes slots during that time range.Interested? Derianto Kusuma (undergraduate: 4-year university)
A geek by nature, Derianto has shown strong interests in programming since a young age, before finally obtaining a scholarship to study in the US. After graduating with a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, he worked at Microsoft and LinkedIn, and only recently returned to Indonesia to start his own startup. He is passionate about making a difference in Indonesia through tech entrepreneurship.
Leonard Hartono (undergraduate: community college)
Leonard Hartono is a Business Administration student at Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley. He transferred to Berkeley from Diablo Valley Community College in his junior year.
Togi Pangaribuan (graduate: law)
Togi Pangaribuan holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and a Sarjana Hukum (LL.B. equivalent) from the University of Indonesia. He is currently an associate lecturer at the Faculty of Law in University of Indonesia, where he was recently appointed as Managing Editor of the Indonesia Law Review, Indonesia's first English language journal on Indonesian law. He is also practicing law as an associate at HADIPUTRANTO, HADINOTO & PARTNERS. Previously, he was a staff speechwriter, analyst and interpreter for the First Lady of the Republic of Indonesia at the Office of the Special Staff of the President for International Affairs.
Deasy Priadi (graduate: MBA)
Deasy Priadi received her B.A. in Psychology from University of Indonesia and her MBA from Carey Business School, Johns Hopkins University. While at Hopkins, she got the chance to work on a consultancy project at a micro-asset financing institution in Kenya as part of her Business education. She currently works for Eli Lilly and Company as a Corporate Affairs Manager based in Jakarta. As the first Corporate MBA ever recruited by Eli Lilly Indonesia, she is in a development program where individuals are prepared to hold leadership positions at the company.
Handhika Ramadhan (graduate: PhD)
Handhika Ramadhan received his PhD in theoretical physics from the Tufts Institute of Cosmology, Tufts University, and bachelor in physics from the University of Indonesia. He currently work as physicist and researcher at the University of Indonesia.
